Speech-Language Therapy - Who Should Be Seen
  Many individuals can benefit from speech therapy. The following are areas of concern that may indicate a need for a speech-language evaulation and speech therapy.

Toddlers who have not acquired a 50 word expressive vocabulary
Language learning difficulties (slow development of vocabulary, concepts, and grammar)
Poor articulation
Speech is not easily understood by unfamiliar listeners
Stuttering that persists longer than 3 to 6 months or is particularly severe or is a parental concern
Difficulty following spoken directions or understanding
Possible signs of autism
